A McLaren Vale redeemable tasting fees tour

Updated: Mar 26

According to my wife Girl Maths has saved our household thousands of dollars. So many equations have been done, so many discount codes have been used and so much free shipping has been utilised, generating a small fortune of wealth. This is our McLaren Vale redeemable tasting fees tour.

We could just avoid buying these items in the first place, but alas Girl Maths is something I will never understand.

The only equation I understand is when wineries waive your tasting fees when you purchase a bottle of wine. For me it’s the best incentive a winery can offer to ensure customers buy wine.

There’s money to be saved when you buy a $50 bottle of wine and avoid paying $10 for the tasting fee. That wine now costs $40. Wine Maths.

Here is a list of McLaren Vale wineries which we have recently purchased wine from and in doing so, avoided paying for tasting fees.

Coriole

Coriole has $15 tasting fees, which are redeemable when you purchase a bottle of wine. We love their Dancing Fig. Cost is $28 and it’s the perfect blend of Mataro (55%), Grenache (30%), Shiraz (15%).

Berg Herring

Berg Herring has $10 tasting fees, which are redeemable when you purchase a bottle of wine. We recently bought a bottle of their Touriga. It’s $35 and it’s a lovely full-bodied red wine to have with lamb cutlets.

Samson Tall

Samson Tall has $10 tasting fees, which are redeemable when you purchase a bottle of wine. We recently bought a bottle of their Tempranillo, which is $32 and is paired perfectly with some paella!

Samuel’s Gorge

Samuel Gorge has $10 tasting fees, which are redeemable when you purchase a bottle of wine. We love their Grenache. It’s $45 and it’s our go-to wine when we’re trying to impress our guests.

Share with us your favourite wineries which have redeemable tasting fees?

Which wine did you buy that resulted in your tasting fee being waived?

When it comes to Wine Maths there are numerous savings to be made.
